This book was published to help the beginner artist. It explains the differences between paint brushes, paints, mediums, canvases and painting techniques as well as being full color, full page spreads of some 50 or so of my portraits and an explanation about how and what i used to complete each painting. There is also a section that lists numerous different portrait palettes that have been used by some of the worlds most famous portrait painters as far back at the 1500’s.
